London 30.10.04 - 19.36 GMT - Various reports arrive from different centres mainly in constituencies of Miranda, where there is a fierce battle between Chavez' right hand man Diosdado Cabello and opposition Governor Enrique Mendoza, denouncing that votes for Enrique Mendoza are printed instead by the Smartmatic machines favouring Diosdado Cabello. The irregular situation has been reported in Guarenas, Guatire and Caracas. Also in the capital, machines have been printing receipts for Simon Pestana (MVR candidate) when electors vote for Major Capriles. Colegio Champagnat stopped the voting briefly to solve such violations to the electorate's will.
